Values

Agile Stream Framework is aligned with the agile values of :

  • Individuals and interactions by increasing the management-team interactions by adding specific touch points along the Scrum framework, on daily and sprint level cadence.
  • Working software by actively removing impediments and using business value to align business activity with teams and vice versa.
  • Responding to change by using the SAF artifacts to gauge the drag and trubulence effects experienced by agile teams and respond to those challenges.

and is supported by two pillars from Toyota Way 2001 of Continuous Improvement, and Respect for People.

Continuos Improvement  describes an attitude in which team members are expected not to be satisfied with the current status of things and continuously develop innovative ideas and solutions that yield higher value. This pillar is composed of:

  • Challenge — Continuously setting and achieving goals with courage and creativity.
  • Kaizen (Continuos Improvement) — Constant, Consistent and Continuos Kaizen (3Cs) philosophy by team.
  • Genchi Genbutsu — Go and see where it is first. It is a simple yet powerful component of CI that has a great impact on quality of work and organizational responsiveness.

Respect for People describes an attitude in which team members are expected to respect each other, employees, customers, stakeholder and society.
